Slow Living Summit

Vermont Soap is participating in the third annual SLOW LIVING SUMMIT on June 4-6, 2014 in downtown Brattleboro VT!

Our booth will be located on the Brattleboro Commons near the intersection of Park Place and Linden Street. We will be displaying products and giving away samples as well as offering products for sale.

Our mission is twofold. The first is to educate the visitors on the benefits of using all natural and organic personal care products. Sure it costs a little more, but with organic certification there is transparency with the product. Not only are the ingredients listed, but the manufacturer must be able to trace the raw materials back to the stage of being seeds planted in the organically approved soil. Cosmetics have long had a history of being manufactured with known carcinogens without letting the public know
what is in the product. Just as important, Vermont Soap has been formulated to address sensitive skin issues. The expo is a great opportunity to sample our products especially for people that have not tried our products before.

The second part of our mission is to thank our many customers in South Eastern Vermont, South West New Hampshire, Western Massachusetts and North West Connecticut. Geographically this is one of our brand name’s most popular regions.

The actual event is the Strolling of the Heifers. Think antithesis of the Running of the Bulls. But it is more than cows. The event celebrates all natural agriculture practices and the many farmers and manufactures involved in this industry. There is a wellness area, a food court, a woods land exhibit, goat races, and even a human Foosball game. We are located in the craft section. Please stop by and see us after the parade!
