Unique Gifts!

You may have noticed that we do not have many of our regular gift items available this year for holiday gift-giving. This is because we are still rebuilding our inventory after the factory fire we had this June. But don’t let that stop you from giving Vermont Soap products this season! We have gift bags and crates available in our store. If you’re looking for something different, we also gathered some creative, unique ways of delivering a bit of soapy cheer:

  • Buy a box of our naked bar soaps and dress them up!
    • snowmanUse brown craft paper to wrap a bar of soap and decorate it with a ribbon, a festive stamp, the recipient’s initials, or stickers – makes a great stocking stuffer, too!
    • Wrap a bar in white paper, decorate to look like a snowman and tie a ribbon around the bottom to look like a scarf
    • Put a bar of soap on top of a soap dish and folded washcloth, then tie together with a ribbon
    • Place a bar of soap in a festive cellophane bag and tie with a ribbon
    • Roll a bar up in the center of a washcloth and tie each end with some ribbon to look like a wrapped candy
  • gelWrap a washcloth around one of our shower gels or a hand towel around a foaming hand soap and tie with a bow for a quick gift.
  • Use a soap dish as a base to stack a bar of soap, a jar of bath salts and a Shea butter tin for a mini spa kit! Hold together with a festive cellophane bag or ribbon.
  • Cut the back pocket out of an old pair of jeans and fill ‘er up! A tin of Shea butter and a Travel Sized Shower Gel would fit nicely, as would a bar of soap and a washcloth.
  • Mason jars are another excellent way to give a gift of Vermont Soap. A small mason jar could hold a bar of soap and some Shea butter, while the larger mason jars could hold a bar of soap, Shea butter, a washcloth and more! Bonus: the jar is usable after all the Vermont Soap goodness is taken out.
  • If you’re expecting overnight guests this holiday season, make them feel at home with a bar of soap and an amenity shower gel. Tie them together and place on the bedside table or with the towels your guests will be using.candy
  • Gift certificates may not be very unique, but how you package them can be!
    • Fold into a long strip, wrap around a bar of soap and secure with a ribbon
    • Make a “nesting doll” package: Put the gift certificate inside an envelope. Wrap the envelope. Place the envelope in a box (maybe with a bar of soap?) and wrap that box. Place that box in a larger box (maybe with a Shower Gel?) and wrap THAT box. Continue this process for as long as you’d like, depending on how diabolical you’re feeling (and if you can get your hands on a refrigerator box…).
    • Slip one into any of the above ideas!
  • Mix and match these products to create a pampering kit! Arrange your gift in a box, basket or apothecary jar for a personal touch.
