Why are my towels less absorbent when I use liquid Castile soap for laundry?
Hi Larry! Can you imagine…. I have a soap question! I have been using the Liquid Castile soap for laundry, per your advice. I am wondering if I use too much per load. My clothes, towels, are definitely lots softer than they were. However, the towels are not as absorbent. I use about 1/3 cup per load, maybe a touch more. Because it does not foam up, it seems like it is not going to get everything clean. So I maybe tend to use more than I should.
Thanks for your help!

Wow! Great soap question Nancy.
Try a double final rinse setting OR program for hot water final rinse.
That should do it.
The amount of liquid you need varies with the mineral content of the water, size of the load and the amount of soil to remove. ¼ to 1/3 cup should do it. I like to see the barest foam in the washer a minute after it is turned on. Then I know I used the right amount. Rub directly into soil spots for direct cleaning power.
All the Best!
