Why don’t all of your bottles have a USDA Organic seal?

I’m interested in buying your products but I have one concern. Why don’t your bottles show a USDA Organic seal on them?

Great question Luisa!

According to the USDA organic program (NOP) any product that contains soap molecules is a “Made With” product. This is a weak organic claim that only lets us say “Made with organic oils” on the front panel and limits our verbage elsewhere. Made with products cannot bear the USDA seal. However they must carry the name of the certifying agency so you know it is the real deal. Our certifier is VOF or Vermont Organic Farmers, a division of NOFA –VT. Only our oil based products like Green Gold bare the coveted USDA seal even though MOST everything we make is certified organic.
