Vermont Takes a Step Toward Tomorrow

This story doesn’t directly relate to soap making or your health, but as conscientious Vermonters, we just had to share: Vermont is taking another step forward to reducing the amount of waste that gets dumped into landfills every year!
The state plans to reduce by 33 percent the amount of leaf and yard debris, food scraps, clean wood, paper and other organics from entering the state’s landfill by 2019.
