Can I add essential oils to the unscented shower gel?

Could I add my own choice of essential oils to your unscented shower gel or would that ruin the soap?

Yes! You can mix your own pure essential oil blends into our unscented gels and liquid castile soap. Real essential oils stay in much better than fragrance or perfume oils will. Use about 2% scent or just put it in a few drops at a time until you have the boof where you like it.

My math skills aren’t the greatest, so just to make sure I understand this: If I wanted to add 2% essential oil to 1-gallon of shower gel would I need to add a little over 5 tablespoons essential oil?

    Hi Tony,
You certainly can add essential oils and essential oil blends to your unscented shower gel, liquid soap or shea butter. I recommend starting with 4 to 8 oz and adding a few drops at a time rather than trying to scent an entire gallon of gel at once. Start with 1% aroma and go up from there; people have different aesthetics about these things. 1.5% of a gallon is about 2oz. There are 6 teaspoons in an ounce (more or less)
Use your nose for smaller amounts.
    And experiment!
    All the Best!
