Is the Liquid Castile Soap concentrated?

I purchased a gallon bottle of the liquid Lavender castile soap. Is it concentrated and need to be diluted or should I just use as is? I’m wanting to combine it with some other ingredients for dishwashing detergent. Thanks,

Hi Cindy,

Use abut ¼ cup of castile liquid soap per load, it is very concentrated. If you are hand washing your dishes first, do not rinse off the soap – just place the soapy dishes into the machine and add an 1/8 of a cup or so extra.
